21st October 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 18-22 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: I left it until about 1pm to go out as the wind was forecast to increase later in the day. Impi was out and Chris joined us too. Wind was OK but a little up and down. 5.7m was the order of the day and that was fine most of the time. Chris was doing lots of forward loops, Impi and I were just blasting up and down most of the time. I did make a couple of duck gybes though and one or two nice jumps but never really got settled. The a squall came through with winds touching 35 knots and some mad rain. Impi and I packed up, just as Jonny arrived. Not bad, but not great for me either. |
